Being an assertive manager will put you must further ahead than being "aggressive. " To be assertive, you must establish yourself as fair and familiar with the job.

One of the best ways to be an aggressive manager is to constantly repeat yourself. It helps if you remind your employees that you want them to do their best at all times. Sometimes they may find this frustrating, but if you know you're right, you have to stand up for what you believe.

Be on top of things, and address issues before they are issues, thats what makes a good manager. Be proactive not reactive. Comunicate with your team and gain thier respect.

Being aggressive means you are a micro manager who has to be in charge of everything that goes on. This will make people resent you in the long run.

You should take stimulants. Herbal stimulants will give you that aggressive attitude that you always wanted. I recommend L-Tyrosine for one, coffee, and Damiana Leaf. If you are still not aggressive enough, there's Rhodiola, Ginseng, and that's about it. These will make you aggressive and sweaty. Also try Co Q 10.

There is a fine line between aggressive and assertive. Requiring that work meet high standards, giving constructive criticism, and quickly holding people accountable are good, aggressive traits. Yelling at people, belittling them in public in personal attacks, and demanding perfection from humans isn't wise.

You can be aggressive without being a cruel bully. What you should do is clearly let your employees know in a stern but respectful way that you expect excellence.

Not always. You need to work with your employees to make a good work environment and get things done. Only be aggressive when someone isn't doing their job.

Don't berate your employees and don't destroy their confidence. It's okay to be aggressive when you want to get things done a certain way because it motivates employees.

I resent this statement yet I can't deny that it is unfortunately true.  add a comment

Never berate employees is totally right. However, if a job isn't getting done you need to be assertive. I believe if that fails, then at that point aggression won't work. However, termination will.  add a comment
