When a work environment becomes unpleasant and is considered hostile, the first place you should go is your direct supervisor. Explain the situation and ask for assistance.

1. Ask what what you did that offended them. It may be resolved by apologizing. 2. If it is a crazy issue or just their personality, discuss the matter with your supervisor as a precaution against being undermined by the coworker.
