There is no such thing as a safe chat room for minors. Some rooms can have censors and even block a user that repeatedly uses vulgarities. But that cannot stop an adult individual to prey upon the children.

There are safe chat rooms for children which you will find easily using a normal google search. Just remember, you are only as safe as the information you give out.

It depends on the age of the child in question, but child safe chatrooms do exist. The main thing to look for when deciding if a room is safe is if there are active moderators. Disney provides several options, and there are places online. The best solution is never let your child on alone.

Any chat room can be a dangerous place, especially for kids. There are a lot of people out there that purposely enter the younger based chat rooms with bad intentions.
