What are some safe demodex mite insecticides?

I have mites all over my house and need to get rid of them.

Dip the dogs in MITABAN. You will need to clip off your dogs hair though and also scrub with shampoo and benzoyl peroxide before this dip.

I'd really recommend ivermectin - an oral medicine that is safe in most animals and humans. It's an oral medication and works wonders!

Way back in time they used to dip dogs with demodex mites in motor oil. it can be dangerous though! Wonder whether spraying your house with motor oil will help though!

Dude - don;t even think 'bout it. Motor oil can kill your dog and your children as it can get absorbed via skin, mucosal membranes and even if licked.  add a comment

Try topically applying metronidazole for human or animal infections. For the demodex mites all around your house most common insecticides will suffice.

if the problem is huge get a professional exterminator or pest control team to take care of it. These bugs are notorious for relapses.  add a comment

They treated the kids with standard anti-mite treatment, permethrin, same we use to treat the mother of all mites, Scabies. The rash cleared. I thought, aha, gotta look at more articles like this. Turns out, there were quite a number of small, independent medical studies, where skin biopsies showed rosacea patients had a much higher than usual load.
