Jimi Hendrix put out so many songs in his short career and life that the list would be very long. Some of his most famous are "Purple Haze", "Crosstown Traffic", "Along the Watchtower. " My favorite was his rendition of the "Star Spangled Banner" that he played during Woodstock! Now has ever made a guitar "talk" like Jimi has!

The first hit, in UK, was "Hey Joe". Purple Haze, The Wind Cries Mary, Burning of the Midnight Lamp, Voodoo Child (Slight Return) were his biggest self-penned hits in UK. Many singles were not released in US. His version of Dylan's "All Along the Watchtower" was the biggest hit worldwide. Many people, including Clapton, have covered his song "Little Wing".
