What are some napping tips?

They say you will be more productive if you take a short nap. I just can't nap!

To help yourself fall asleep try using aromatherapy. Scents like lavender and chamomille are supposed to help. Make the enviroment as relaxing as possible. Play softer music that you enjoy.

If you have trouble falling asleep, one thing you can do is count backwards from one hundred. You could also try drinking some warm milk or reading a book, which might make you tired. You might even consider watching TV, if you're not too concerned about the electric bill.

Try setting aside an entire hour for a 20 minute nap (set your alarm). Make a cup of hot chocolate (warm milk relaxes), lay in bed in a DARK room. Get comfortable, close your eyes, and starting with your toes, concentrate on relaxing your entire body, inch by inch. Take deep breathes with each inch you move up.

If you're not tired you won't be able to nap. The best way to become more productive is simply to get enough sleep in the first place. Also, make sure you go to bed at the same time most nights and try to get up at the same time. This will help you to sleep and feel better.
