People have the myth that all tattoos hurt to get. That's not true. It depends on where you get your tattoo. If it's over a fleshy area, then it won't hurt. But if it's over a bone-y area, then it'll hurt.

Some of the myths of tattoos are they bleed a lot, they are painful and that they may change color. Also, that certain inks hurt more than others, or that a tattoo is done with a single needle, when actually tattoos are done with needles that are clustered together in groups of odd numbers; such as three, five, seven, etc.

Some common myths about tattoos are that society will look down on you if you have one; that tattoos are painful to get, and that you will regret getting one.
