Wedding vows for parents should include a seperate section addressing the children. Take turns telling the child/children how important they are to the marriage.

We are so proud of our son and his new wife. We promise to support them, to pray for them, to believe in them, to trust them and to honor and respect their marriage, their privacy and their decisions. But most of all we vow to love them.
