I use a good concealer. Start with a clean face, take a good concealer and apply lightly to each blemish. Rub it in and apply a little more if needed. Let in dry, then add your foundation. Let it dry and them cover with a light coat of powder.

For red blemishes, look in a department store or beauty store for a green-tinted concealer to apply to the red area. This goes underneath your foundation and the green color in the concealer will cancel out the red of the blemish. Mineral makeup also helps as it won't irritate the blemish further and make it worse.

The best thing to do is to invest in good skincare first! When you are applying makeup, the first thing that you want to do is use a concealer. This should be blended in well. There are lots of different concealers out there, so shop around and find what works best for you!

If you are using a basic concealer, it should be the same shade as your foundation which should match your skintone. A concealer that is too light or too dark will draw attention to the area. Try green concealer to cover red.
