Top five: Truth, skills, keywords that apply to your professional area of expertise, all work experience, and your contact information to include phone number, email and address. Clever narrative is not important. Correct spelling is critical, include education, and put dates with month and year on all experience citations.

Some of the things you should include on your resume are education, all experiences that relate to the job you are applying for, other activities that you are involved in and why you would be an asset to this particular company.

On a resume, you want to have your name, phone number, e-mail address, all you contact information at the top where is it really visible and clear. After that, list your work experience, school and training, and any degrees you may have. Finally, you may want to include references.

Some good things to include on a resume are your prior work experiences, your education, and any honors or achievments you've recieved in the past. For workers just entering the job market (high school, college grads etc.) you may want to include worthwhile extracuriculars that display positive qualities.

Concentrate on what you can do for the company. List your relevant work experience, emphasizing the requirements for the job that you are applying for. List your education background below that.
