-setting up a suggestion box so the council can hear and address necessary improvements and problems that ordinary students might deem important or useful. -fundraisers hosted by the council so they will actually have extra funds besides school funding. -when having accumulated said extra funds, addressing things such as extra equipment needed by students.

One of the best student council activities is holding a blood drive. Any local blood bank will be glad to cooperate with you. Also, have the council members visit a local nursing home and read to the residents, or play games with them.
