If your nephew has any dolls or toys, perhaps you two could play together and make up a game with the toys. Hide-and-seek is also a fun game, you could let him hide, then you find him. If he has a video game console, you two could play a game together that is multiplayer.

I always loved playing hide and go seek, freeze tag, red light green light and plain old tag. Being 10 today might be different from being 10 when I was young, but I would think things like that would still be acceptably fun these days, no?

A great game for 10 year olds is Yahtzee because they can have fun while building on their math skills. Another great game is Othello, which really challenges the mind. I suggest these two games because they will be sure to keep your nephew on his toes, and very occupied!
