What are some good craft ideas for Mother's Day?

If you know how to knit or crochet, a scarf or hat or even a pair of mittens might be appreciated. Or a container with an interesting shape can be painted to create a vase which you can fill with flowers for her.

Well you might as well make her a pen holder or so. Or you can always make her a card of some sort. A bookmark is also neat. I would also suggest making a picture frame out of popsicle sticks. Those are always cool and really fun if you paint the right colors.

If you are good at sewing, a pretty scarf would be ideal. How about a crocheted change purse, book cover, eyeglass case? A stuffed heart made of satin fabric with potpourri filling she can hang in her closet would be delightful. It would be something she sees and appreciates every day.
