No eye injuries are necessarily common in cats. If something pokes or scratches the eye it can injure it, so just keep an eye on if your cats are scratching each other's faces a lot.

It is very common for cat to develop conjunctivitis, which is easily taken care of with a cream you can get from the vet. Also, with multiple cats, scratches and accidental injuries are likely to occur. Plus, their eyes will get watery and odd when sick, so be sure to check your cats eyes frequently.

Usually cats don't get too many cat injuries but if you have three cats and they play or fight it is possible that one might get a scratch in the eye. I also once had a cat who had a bug bite him on the eye lid.

While cats are generally good at protecting their eyes, it is not uncommon for them to get scratches on them when they are fighting. Also, they can get ulcerated corneas either from an irritant rubbing the eye or an ingrown eyelash. These are very painful and require veterinary care to prevent pain and infection.

The most common injury to the cat's eye is caused by scratching. A prolapsed eye occurs when the eye ball is pushed outside the eyelids.
