Babies love tummy time. They also like grabbing for objects, depending on what age your baby is. You could put objects that are big enough so that they wont choke, on the floor just far enough away for them to have to work to get it. This helps them learn how to get around.

Babies love being with other children, and it's good for them to socialise, even though they can't actually talk! So it's great to take them to places where there are other children, such as playgroups, soft play centres (which have baby-areas), and to classes especially for babies. At home you can play peekaboo, sing songs and read simple stories.

Floor activities are the best. They strengthen their backs and necks a lot. My son loved massage therapy which we did on the floor. I massaged from his head on down to his toes. Then I would work on moving his legs up and down and pulled at his arms to help him stand up. Great exercise for a baby

Some activities for babies are singing to them, playing peek a boo, reading the a book, listening to opera, which helps their brain develop, or just talking to them.
