Self heating drinks are a fairly new product that still isn't all that widespread. Basically, it's a cup of coffee, tea or soup that has a built-in warmer, allowing you to have a warm drink without needing to heat it in the microwave or on a stove.

A self heating can is like a regular food can that is available.Self heating cans have dual chambers one surrounding the other.The inner chamber has the food or drink and the outer chamber has chemicals.When the user pulls off the ring the barrier seperates and a hot drink is ready.

Self heating drinks have chemicals in the inner chamber of the can or cup. The beverage surrounds the outer chamber. When person wants warm drink, they pull a ring which breaks the barrier and causes an exothermic reaction when combined. After heat from the reaction has been absorbed you can enjoy a hot drink or even a meal.
