When looking for a friend look for reliability, ability to laugh, loyalty, similar likes, compatibility, sincerity, and most of all honesty.

try to get a friend who you aren't intimidated by. Some that your comfortable to be around and go to when you need an honest opinion... It helps in the long run

A friend is someone who helps and supports you no matter what. They must be loyal, honest and genuinely like spending time with you.

You want them to be honest with you. If you find out he/she is keeping things from you, they probably aren't a god friend to have. Loyalty is also important because if you consider someone a friend and you find out they are saying mean thing about you, no good.
