the annulus is the fiberous part of a disc in your spinal column, annulus being the proper term. this fiberous tissue can bulge and protrude out between the bones in your spinal column getting pinched and causing pain or numbness in the areas that the discs control as in cervical or lumbar regions

Annuli is the plural of annulus - and these are the discs which sit between the bones in your backbone. The phrase means that there are some discs which are being squeezed out a bit more than normal in the backbone, but the problem is minimal, which means it is not too bad.

Your spinal column contains the annulus, the fibrous part of a disk. These annuli that are found within every disk, can become inflamed, bulge, and cause a variety of issues. Some effects include pain, numbness, and a pinching experience in the affected area. The cause is simply a disk being "squeezed" out more than normal.

They are the discs that sit between the bones of your spinal column. They can control pain and numbness of various areas of your spine. The discs are squeezed and catch on fibrous tissue along your spine. Sometimes even a disc can be squeezed out of place resulting in a slipped disc.
