Question by  MKinSA (10)

What are dorm prices like at UCF?

I am going there and I'm living in an apartment near by for now, but if the dorms are a better price, I'd like to move.

If you plan on staying at the dorms permanently (for your school stay), then Fall and Summer rates are from $3,000-$4,000, and Summer rates are from $2,000-$2,500.

Well this depends on the semester you will be living in the dorm and the type of dorm you are looking to get. However, I did find that the cheapest for fall 2010 is $1,852.50 for the semester and the most expensive is $3,120

Prices vary by building and roommates. If you have a single apartment, most UCF contracts would be cheaper. Consider all the costs: transportation, electricity, water - and the cost or hassle of a 12-month apartment lease if you don't stay for the summer. Dorms cost less than most apartments.

Well, actually dorm prices on average are always higher and they are at UCF as well. It's cheaper to buy an apartment.

Rates can run anywhere from $915 to to $3000 depending on which dorm you stay in and which semester. You can get very good detail by searching for University of Central Florida Housing and Residence Life. It lists each dorm and the pricing for the different semesters.
