Common eye disorders include blindness and astigmatism. Astigmatism can lead to increased light sensitivity and limitation when purchasing contact lenses. Blindness, as well as color blindness, are many times contracted at birth. Color blindness limits one's visible light perception, and often times limits one to seeing in only black and white colors.
