What am I do wrong if my bow shooting string is hitting my bow arm?

I need archery help.

Hold your right arm out as if you were holding your bow and note the position of your elbow (imagine your elbow is a clock hand); if it's pointing to 5 or 6 o'clock, then that's your problem. Keep your hand in place and rotate your elbow to 3 o'clock.

You are not turning your arm correctly if the bowstring is hitting your arm. Hold the bow out with a straight arm, then turn your elbow while keeping your hand straight.
