I would say that he does have an interest in you! Sounds like you are on his mind a lot. It is very nice that he is concerned about how you are doing. Why don't you try talking on the phone or meet up for a lunch. You can't tell true feelings from a text!

The best way to tell if someone likes you is by the amount of time that they devote to you. Clearly, he is showing that you are on his mind.
