Sometimes my rabbit gives me a little nudge or starts to lick me. Why?

If a rabbit is nudging you, it might want some attention or it wants you to move out of the way. If a rabbit is licking you, its grooming you like it would another rabbit.

Rabbits tend to nudge or lick you because your in the way, practically saying that you have to move. Rabbits are intellectual animals and are trying to communicate with you.
