Should I purchase a horse walking machine?

Unless your stable is your business, and you own a number of horses, there is no need. If you don't have the time to walk and exercise up to 3 horses, you really don't have the time and commitment to own them. A walker is no replacement for interactive exercise, and a bored horse will be a very problematic behavior-risk.

If you exercise your horses or if you don't have enough horses to fill the spaces in the Hot Walker it's not worth it. Hot Walkers are for horses that are cooped up in a stall all day and don't get a lot of exercises. Tracks and Boarding Stables use them as well to ensure the horses get some exercise.

No, a horse walking machine can not react. When walking the horse yourself, you can react if the horse was to act up,this also allows bonding.
