Question by  PaulB (26)

Should I get an artificial pre-lit Christmas tree?

Or are they as hard to take care of as real ones?

Much easier to care for than a real one. Needs no water or trimming. Doesn't shed on the floor. And it's already lit, so no hassle with wrapping lights around it yourself. In the long run it's cheaper too, because you can get a few years use of it. Overall, just easier to have than a real one.

They are a little easier to take care of real ones because they don't shed their needles and they don't require water. However, the initial set up can be tedious. You have to fluff them. If you store them completely set up in a storage bag it's not hard. It's your choice.
