A cat's nose is not really the best indicator as to how a cat is feeling. Their nose can go wet or dry depending on what activities they are doing.

Cats typically have dry noses, not wet ones like dogs. A cat does not keep its nose moist with its tongue as a dog does. Cats have rough sandpapery tongues, while dogs have smooth tongues. While dogs usualy tend to have cold, wet noses, cats have warmer, more leathery noses.

In my own experience there is nothing to worry about unless there are other symptoms. Sluggish, meowing funny, etc. If so, you'll want to take it to the vet as soon as is possible. A dry nose alone however, no need to worry about him / her too much. Just keep an eye on em.

A dry nose is probably okay. Although most cats have moist noses, I have seen many with dry noses. Just make sure your cat gets enough water to prevent dehydration.
