no, teenage girls are not mentally matured, they dont understand what is right and what is wrong for them,they should be having a support, a hand by side after a breakup with a boyfriend,or else she may do anything to her self. they should be pampered and understand.

Absolutely not!! If you are a friend, you need to keep her busy. Do things and take her places that don't remind her of the relationship. Let her cry on your shoulder, but encourage her to be strong. If you are a mom, stay real close. Let her no you are there and aren't going anywhere.

Unless this girl has a past of dangerous or suicidal behavior, leaving her alone is fine. In fact, she may want to be left alone. If it's her first breakup, she may dramatise it, but more than likely after some crying and talking with her girlfriends, she will be fine.

If she initiated the break up, then there is not an increased need for supervision. However, frequent talks are a good way to build up communication. If he initiated the breakup, she should have constant company to build up self confidence, self worth, and realize that you should not identify yourself only as part of a pair.
