This model of refrigerator is known for this problem. The defrost drain becomes blocked by ice that forms from the evaporator coil. This is located on the bottom of the freezer. Manually defrost the evaporator coil and this should solve the problem.

If you are referring to the bottom of the refrigerator, there is actually supposed to be a collection tray to catch the water which evaporates.

You could locate the area in which the leak is coming from and possibly have it repaired. If that is not possible, it might be best to just purchase a new refrigerator considering that the leak could be causing your refrigerator to work overtime and make your electric bill higher.

Be sure to check for leaks and mechanical failures before considering replacement of the appliance. If there is a faulty part on the appliance, it may be possible to call in a repair man to maintain operation of the refrigerator without the constant leaks. There may be no need for replacement.
