You should move the car out of the exit of the wash and then move it into the parking lot, then wait for the car to dry. This will allow the water that may have gotten into places that it should not have to dry and should hopefully allow you to start your car again.

It sounds like water got into the distributor. You can let it sit and dry for a day or two, or attempt to remove the distributor cap and air dry.

That is an unusual problem indeed and the two events may not actually be related. However, water or humidity trapped inside the engine compartment can throw off the electrical systems of newer cars and cause a misfire in the plugs. Open the hood and let the area dry out.

it is possible that water got somewhere it shouldn't. I would try to dry inside the engine compartment, take extra care around the battery, then try to jump it. Hopefully that will work.

Most likely it is a fuse that has blown, check all fuses in the fuse box. If that does not work, it is the ignition coil, just let it dry.

the electrical wires and ect got wet try to let it dry off cause the water could be causing something to short out.

One thing you could do is wait for it to dry out what probably happened was your hood "seal" probably has a leak and water got into something.

If your Focus went through the car wash and does not start you could have a serious problem I would suggest talking to a mechanic.

Well obliviously water got somewhere it was not supposed to. The first thing to do is clean the battery terminals and install the terminals snugly. Then use some compressed air to blow out an water setting in the engine.

when your Ford Focus went threw the car wash, the electrical systems in the engine compartment got wet. I would strongly suggest to spray W-D 40 on all the electrical wires under your hood.
