Vector sells knives under the Cutco brand. Salespeople have to purchase a sample kit and are responsible for all expenses. Lots of websites detail the enterprise as a scam.

It is because you have to pay money up front. You have to pay for a kit and training and are encouraged to relatives and friends, that can only last so long. Vector Marketing has been indicted for fraud in several states.

Vector marketing is an organization that utilizes college age students to act as a commission based saleforce. The catch is that you are not an employee of the company, but an independent contractor. As such, you have to pay for your own training and materials before you can make sales.

No, Vector marketing is not a scam each and every company has its own strategy of marketing and the main objective of any company is to sell.

It's a legal scam lol! just as the others said you have to buy your own material, so if you need money its not for you, but if you have extra money, why not. (it's definitely not for me why would i pay someone for labor).

Vector marketing is basically a scam. They recruit students, claiming to pay $15+ per hour, however, after paying for supplies, many "employees" make about $3 per hour.

It's not a scam but basically anyone can get hired. Also, it's not the best type of job, selling knives and what not.

It's a sell-from-a-catalog "business", meaning you do home demonstrations (your home or a client's) and sell to people. You have to meet minimum quarterly sales and buy costly start-up equipment.
