Is there such a thing as an alternator volts amps test?

Yes. While an alternator is spinning you subject it to a test load. Under load you can measure the output (volts and amps) to determine if the alternator is broken.

For that you have to use electronic machine called multi tester you can check amp and also volts in that multi tester not only that you can check battery also how much the battery has been left the power in the battery. also multiple things you can check in that machine.

There are tests to check the amps and the volts or an alternator. I assume a sophisticated tester could show you both readings at the same time though.

watt meter is used to test the volts amps test to the alternator. watt meter can read the voltage and also the current.
