Will a diaper of baby pee cure acne? Not really. But there is some truth here. Urine has ammonia in it, a strong antiseptic chemical. If your acne is caused by poor facial hygiene, then the ammonia could kill the bacteria causing the acne. But standard antibacterial soap will work just as well.

This old wives tale is not advisable to do. Rubbing a diaper on your face could actually result in health problems and would not eliminate a facial problem as once believed.

If you are referring to rubbing baby urine on your face to cure acne and pimples, there is some proof that this home cure is effective. The acidity of the urine acts in an anti-bacterial way. I probably will work if you dont mind walking around smelling like a dirty public restroom.

Urine has been held as a cure for acne for many years. A lot of African countries use cow urine caught in a bucket that is supposed to get rid of acne and make your complexion 'beautiful.'

Well there are enzymes in urine that are said to be good for the skin so it would be feasible that the old wives tale holds some truth.

No, and diapers can be very unsanitary. This is not a good idea and can result in the spread of disease.

Urine is acidic and can remove acne, but, it is also unsanitary and can cause other infections. Better practice would be just to wash your face daily at the very least, and don't over do the make-up. Witch Hazel is a much safer choice to help clean out your pore, if you need something stronger then soap.

wrapping a pissy cloth diaper around your face for 10 min. is good for everything
