An iridescent shark is actually a catfish and is found in Southeast Asia. Iridescent sharks are grey in color and have dark grey or black fins and can grow up to three feet long.
An animal called an iridescent shark does exist, though this classification is a misnomer. The iridescent shark is not a shark at all, but actually is a type of catfish.
