Is there an equivalent of a canine morning after pill?

I don't want her to have puppies, but I think she might have gotten pregnant last night.

Google search provides a great deal of information. There a many ways to induce caine abortions, including the use of RU 486. Each has its own set of risks and side effects. Do your research.

Yes, there is a drug called DES (diethylstilbestrol) that can be administered by a veterinarian. The drug is usually used to treat incontinence but will induce abortion in canines at higher doses. While able to cause abortions in dogs there are other preferred methods.

If you take the dog to the vet, an animal abortion can be done. The vet will also be able to find out for sure if the dog is pregnant or not and if an abortion is needed. As long as the abortion is as soon as possible after puppies were conceived, everything should be fine.

No. One reason being is that if you caught your dog having sex with another dog and you stopped it, you don't know if they even had sex long enough to get her pregnant. Second of all, a dog's gestation period is different from humans. If you think your dog is pregnant, take her to the vet.
