I believe a standard business license is all you need to run a stripper service. Your dancers will need to get an "exotic dancer" license from the state though.

Yes in most states there are licenses required to run a stripper service. There are many regulations regarding strip clubs that are dependent upon the state you want to open your club. In most states there will be regular inspections of the premises to make sure you stay in compliance with all local laws.

Strip clubs are notorious for bending the rules. Identify all the local laws, find out how strictly those laws are enforced, and why. Not a game for beginners. Just sayin.

All dancers at all adult clubs must have an adult entertainer license issued by the police department. The police department also makes a background check too. This is about US. You should specify where your business is.
