Your local classified ads or Craigslist can be a great source for cheap aquariums. And, sometimes local schools or colleges will sell their inventory of aquariums for discounted prices, which will save you money.

You can always get cheap aquariums from places like wal-mart that come with everything you need. Also you can always check your local classified ads because there is always people looking to sell off used aquariums and most of them come with everything you need to get it started up.

Craigslist, want ads, garage sales are a good place to start. It is fairly easy to find even brand new aquariums inexpensively due to the rise and fall of their popularity.

probably garage sales! either that or you can look for one on craigs list. The best time to buy a cheap aquarium is summer, when all of the sales are going on at pet stores. If you absolutely must have a brand new one, i would have to say GOOD LUCK! or try walmart
