Is the Garmin GPS 60 reasonably portable?

I'd like to use it biking, hiking, etc.

Yes, it's hand held and very portable. Most user reviews indicate used in hiking. Received 4 stars out of 5. Although, cited it's non-mapping, shows "dots" for cities.

The Garmin GPS 60 is designed with the sole purpose of taking it with you when biking, hiking and so fort.

For a hand held unit it is very portable. I wouldn't recommend it on biking trips however. Only because these things run so much money and they could easily break.

Yes it is. At 7 ounces it's light enough to carry and with a size of 2.5" x 6" x 1.5" it is small enough to fit a pocket.
