Is the Elephant Nose Fish a good addition to my aquarium?

It depends on your tanks. Elephant Nose Fish need at least a 40 gallon tank. They are sensitive to water quality so it is recommended that they be added to a cycled tank. They are peaceful with other fish, but more than one should not be housed in an aquarium.

The Elephant Nose fish is a harder pet to take care of. You should have at least a 200 gallon tank with low lighting and many places to hide. The temperature has to be fairly warm. They do not do well alone, It is recommended that you purchase 7+ fishes.

not necessarily. i know you prob want to hear that it is a good addition, but it prob is not. i advise you to read up on them online from experts before purchasing a fish this expensive. plus now all fish can get along with eachother.
