Yes. Tap water is safe for Parakeets and other birds. In fact it is safer than the water they would drink in the wild.

If possible, spring water is recommended. If your tap water is clear and tastes good to you, it will be fine for your parakeet. Make sure you keep fresh water in a clean bowl for the bird, therefore, not allowing bacteria to linger on dish.

I give my birds tap water, however it probably depends on what is in the water in your area. You'd be safe in giving it distilled or reverse osmosis water.

Tap water is very safe for parakeets, one has to make sure that the water is safe for human consumption and if that is shown to be the fact, then there is no reason why it cannot be used for parakeets as well.

If your water is pretty clean it should not be a problem. Most people give their birds tap but then again there is no harm in sharing you filtered water with them.

spring water or tap water is perfect for birds . what i do is give my cockatoo tap water but filter it 1st through a brita water filter which removes the chlorine, limescale, lead, copper and pestisides that may be in the tap water.
