This is a philosophical question and depends on your definition of the word "love. " If love is something you really like, then it may not be unconditional. However, if love is something you cannot live without, then perhaps it is unconditional, because you will put no condition on it to have it in your life.

Most love is to some extent conditional. Most people find it difficult to love someone who is cruel to them, so love is based on the condition that someone treats them with respect. Married love, then, is almost always conditional in some respect. Unconditional love would be love without caring what another did, but still loving them.

Jesus gave us the meaning of unconditional love when he died on the cross for our sins. This unselfish act is shows love is only unconditional.
