This is why it is crucial to provide your horse with a proper diet that is not contaminated with molds, noxious weeds, toxic compounds and other elements that may upset his digestive tract. Yes, horses can't throw up. What they get instead is colic. That is where they kick at their stomach or bring their head close to their stomach and try to roll. Though you should keep a horse walking and call a vet if your horse has a stomach ache. If he rolls, he could twist his gut.
