No that is not true. In fact it doesn't matter what color the pet is, what matters is what type of hair or fur they have.

No, this is not true. The amount of dander a pet releases is related to how much fur they have and how much the shed, as well as their size.

The color of a cat or dog has little to do with allergens that the animal gives off. The proteins that people are allergic to, especially in cats, come from the cat's saliva. The cat licks her pelt while grooming it and coats the fur with allergens.

This is absolutely false. The ammount of allergens a pet gives off is determaned by it's breed, coat lenghth and skin condition. The color of the animal has nothing to do with it.

It is true because the darker colored hair uses more protein and cellular organism as well as the amount of fur which all can be a cause allergies in humans.
