Is it possible to be born with a third eye?

A functioning third eye has yet to appear on any human throughout recorded history. Safe to presume that this will not occur. The third eye (also known as the inner eye) is a mystical and esoteric concept referring in part to the ajna (brow) chakra in certain Eastern and Western spiritual traditions.

While it is technically possible it would require an amazing amount of routing and it's entirely unlikely and we'll probably never see it.
