Is it okay to print invitation envelopes on a computer?

I am trying to save time with printing my wedding invitation envelopes and would like to do them on my computer.

Yes, it is perfectly acceptable to print the invitation envelopes on your computer! Now that most couples are paying for their own weddings, many couples choose to save time and money by doing many of the tasks previously sent to outside vendors by themselves. You can find pretty invitation templates at the craft store. Congratulations!

Yes, getting married does not mean you have to do everything by hand or consign it to an outside source. Using your own printer is a viable, practical, option.

Printing envelopes on the computer is not completely out of the question. You would lose the formal touch you would have but it would be alright. Just remember to try and match the font style on the invintations. In that way you do perserve some quality of formality that you might otherwise lose.

Sure it is ok, as long as you give a personal touch - that is, wring the name of your guest on the envelope. That's what I did.
