Yes, as long as he is not overexerting himself. Make sure that he is not lifting what a 15 or 16 year old would be lifting. That having been said, it is a good workout and is in no way harmful for your child if he is lifting a safe amount.

Yes, as long as the weights are not too heavy, and as long as he is taking in adequate nutrition for the developement of strong bones and muscles. Also he should not be taking any supplements at this age due to the fact that puberty is not complete and may not have even started.

No it is not okay. Because he is only 10 years old and not completely grown yet. This way he might screw up his muscles for life.

Proteins should be used for development of children. Creating muscle mass could hamper development possibly preventing full height. Avoid any back strain and use only light weight with a supervisor.

The simple answer would be yes if he is careful with what he does and does not push his body too far. The theory that lifting weights at a young age will cause problems like being vertically challenged later in life is just a theory.

It depends that how much weight is he lifting and also depends on the health of your son. But in my opinion he should keep doing that as it is a very good exercise.

It wouldn't hurt, I started lifting like two weeks before my 11th Birthday. Just don't overwork him or her. As far as I know, growth stunting is just a myth, but I wouldn't take the chances.

A 10 year old can lift weights, even though it isn't going to be doing all that much for him at this point. However, you need to be very active in helping with his training. At that age he should only be lifting lighter weights at higher repetitions. The higher weights for toning can harm him.
