It is not only unethical for a wife to prescribe medication for her husband it is also aganist medical practice rules and regulations. The wife could lose her medical license and be accused of wrong doing and have criminal charges brought up against her. You are not allowed to prescribe medication to relatives.

First off, you have to be a licensed doctor to prescribe medication. Assuming that the wife is a doctor and licensed, then yes, it would be okay for her to prescribe medicine for him, as long as she continues to prescribe in good judgement.

It depends on what qualification the wife has. Prescribing medicine is done by professional qualified personal. If the wife is qualified and has an authorization to do it, she can prescribe medicine even to her husband. Other issues are with what kind of medicine she prescribes. If the wife is a doctor it is ethical.

It is not ethical for a wife to give her husband medication. She is not a doctor and could possibly hurt him or send him to the hospital. Since I would hope she doesn't want to do this she shouldn't.
