Diarrhea is a side effect of too much fish oil but you should consult your physician if reducing or eliminating fish oil from your diet does not resolve the situation.

I don't know how much you're taking but that can be a side effect of antioxidants. If you take it daily, try just taking twice a week and see if that helps. Check out other types of antioxidants, like krill oil or flax oil. You lose vital minerals and vitamins with diarrhea, so don't ignore it.

Diarrhea can be a sign that you are taking excessive amounts of fish oil, but it could also be unrelated. If it continues, reduce your intake of fish oil.

Diarrhea "can" be a cause of taking too much fish oil. You need to cut back the amount you are consuming a day. You should also try to take something that will help you with this. You can try immodium. There are different over the counter medications to help you.
