Many people claim that Castor oil helps with hair loss and regrowth when used regularly. You have to leave it on your scalp for about 10 minutes and should notice results after 6 applications or so.

Yes, many people have reported than massaging castor oil into the scalp helps regrow hair. You can add a few drops of rosemary oil to the castor oil to speed up the results. This remedy can used for scalp hair, eyebrows and eyelashes (please do not get into eyes). This remedy worked for me when rogaine did not.

Yes it is. You should massage it into your scalp 2-3 times a week or before every shampoo. For best results, heat it first and apply while warm. Clip up your hair; wrap your head in plastic and leave on for 20 minutes, then shampoo. Be sure to rinse thoroughly.

Castor oil can be good for hair loss. Before you try that you should talk to your doctor to rule out a medical cause for your hair loss. Then you should improve your diet and reduce stress. You can add castor oil to this regimen. You can also try taking a prenatal vitamin.

I have never heard of any studies done that proves that Castor oil is good for hair loss. It is made for constipation and even has been known to induce labor in pregnant women close to their due date but it seems like a very messy idea for your head.

Castor oil is too thick to be used on hair. You should try using a small amount of something like extra virgin olive oil first which is natural, lighter in texture, and will help soften and grow the hair as well. Additionally, oils are typically used "to seal" in moisturizers so they should be used as a moisturizer first.
