Is a 2007 Altima a good bet for a second vehicle?

Absolutely. Nissan makes a wonderful and dependable line of cars. The Altima is one of the best that Nissan makes as far as sedans go. The fact that is is a 2007 is great, too, because it is not that old and thus will require less maintenance.

In my opinion, it would definitely make a good second vehicle. It has a lot of horsepower and it is quite roomy as well, which is good for the family. It has great handling and steering too.

the newer used cars are usually a good buy, if the car has a good service record and has been taken care of, it would be reasonable. newer cars are built better.

Nissans are fairly dependable vehicles. They get decent gas milage and the newer models hold together pretty well. I would rate Nissan along side Mitsubishi and right under Toyota and Honda. Although I like American made cars a little better, foreign cars are a little more dependable. The only issue with foreign cars is when they break, it's expensive.

check the service records and milage. used cars are usually ok if they have been taken care of. also, high milage is not bad if car is in good shape.
