Is 8 too old for a Superman backpack?

I wouldn't say that eight is too old, but how does your son feel about it? If he likes it i would say to let him use it. If he is worried about the other kids and what they would think there may be a problem. It's probably better for a younger age, as an older child may get teased.

As a mother of 3 boys absolutely not. Boys are always going to admire the hero's with all of their powers and admiration. I would say 10 would be an age where he may not be to fond of superheros anymore; 8 years is still within the superman fan league.
